...and all the noise you hear is coming from the gasser.
The problem for drag racing is that the loud noise and the smoke and the smell of burning rubber have all been an integral part of the show.
Racing electric cars sounds as exciting as running a table saw.
Well....the sound, smell, show,.....they are a part of American history. I love it. But I have to say the performance of the electric car is more than impressive. Since I saw this vid I looked at several more. I can remember watching the American muscle go against the little "rice burners" on Front Street in Philly in the late 70's and early 80's. I never thought they'd catch on. But now they make movies featuring them. Same with these electric cars I guess. They will soon be in a movie and will no doubt fuel controversy on both sides of the issue. I would think we wouldn't have to wait too long.
